The AllPeopleBeHappy foundation, through fundraising campaigns in 2008 and 2009, raised a total of $24,000, and with matching funds, allowed Room to Read to build 9 libraries/reading rooms in schools in Sri Lanka.  Six have been completed.  Our partner, Room to Read, has been building schools, libraries, and computer rooms throughout the developing world since 2000 and specifically in Sri Lanka since 2004. In 2009, through our annual fundraising campaign, Build A Library, we raised $12,000, enabling the start of the construction for the three remaining libraries in early 2010.  Thank you, thank you to all those who contributed.   (www.roomtoread.org)
